Early in the morning (around 04:15 AM), you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, meet your professional guide and drive to Selçuk to begin a full-day exploration of the legendary ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world.
Walk along marble-paved streets and discover remarkable monuments including the Temple of Hadrian, the impressive Great Theatre, and the ornate Trajan Fountain, while learning about the city’s importance as a major commercial and religious center of antiquity.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the sacred House of the Virgin Mary, an important Christian pilgrimage site believed to be her final residence. You will then visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, followed by the historic Isa Bey Mosque, an outstanding example of Seljuk architecture.
At the end of the tour (around 4:00 PM), transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi.
