After breakfast, around 08:30 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day guided exploration of Istanbul’s historic peninsula. Begin with a visit to Hagia Sophia, the city’s most iconic monument reflecting centuries of Byzantine and Ottoman heritage, followed by the magnificent Blue Mosque, famous for its elegant domes, minarets, and blue Iznik tile interior. Continue to Hippodrome Square, the former social and sporting center of Byzantine Constantinople.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans featuring imperial courtyards, treasury collections, and optional access to the Harem section. Board your Bosphorus cruise and admire Istanbul’s unique skyline from the water. Following the cruise, return to your hotel area to collect your luggage before transferring to either Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) for your flight to Kayseri.
